Recreational activities at Kurumba Maldives are organised under five tenets: Energise, Eco, Explore, Enrich and Entertain. The resort provides a whole host of recreational activities day and night to ensure guests enjoy their holiday to the max. The Majaa (majaa in the local language means fun) Recreation area is located next to Veli Spa. The team are on hand to help guests choose a pursuit, which could range from a tennis lesson to night snorkeling. In addition to individual activities, a seven-day activity timetable is also available to ensure guests are always entertained.
Energise: Keeping active on holiday From splashing away in one of the resort’s two swimming pools to burning calories in the fully equipped gym, Kurumba Maldives understands that many guests want to keep on top of their health and fitness whilst on holiday. With this in mind, the resort offers a daily fitness programme, which includes tai chi, body conditioning and beginner’s yoga. The island also boasts a 900-metre pathway which can be used as a running track, a 24-hour gym and three flood lit tennis courts.
Eco: An education into the flora and fauna of the Maldives For many, a visit to the Maldives is a natural enlightenment. The bright aqua of the ocean, juxtaposed against the powdery white sand beaches is a natural phenomenon. Kurumba offers guests the chance to explore more and get under the surface.
