Sunset Fishing

You will be taken by a motorized Dhoni to a nearby reef, where you can try the Maldivian traditional style “hand line fishing” with our experienced Dhoni crew while enjoying the beautiful sunset. You may be lucky enough to catch fish like red snapper, white snapper, grouper, barracudas, jackfish and many more. Your catch will be grilled (BBQ) for you the following day.

Morning Fishing

If you enjoy fishing or just trying something new, then this could be an unforgettable event. We set sail before sunrise; as the new day begins the fish start biting on the hook and so the fun begins. Marlin or Sailfish, Wahoo, Barracuda, Jackfish and Tuna are just some of the fish you may catch. Breakfast and free drinks will be served on board. Your catch will be grilled (BBQ) for you the same day.

Big Game Fishing

South Male’ has a reputation as a hot game fishing destination – a paradise all-year round. Troll South Male’ Atoll’s crystal clear waters for Blue, Black or Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi-mahi, Big Yellow Fin Tuna and Wahoo. Cast jigs or poppers for predators like Blue Fin and Giant Trevally. Virtually all species of tropical fish frequent the atoll.

Jigging & Popping

With shallow flats filled with large predators, jigging and popping is what you’d consider the main attraction of sport fishing in the Maldives. You will go after similar species as with shore fishing, with the addition of tuna, large barracuda, red bass, amberjack, and his majesty, the GT.
